I am in my best friend's 4th grade classroom, watching her aide give a lesson on rhyming words.
"What rhymes with far?"
The kids just blurt words that rhyme, with no regard for the fact that most of them are not actual words.
"Lar!"
No.
"Mar!"
Is that word?
"Gar!"
Is that a word? Say it again. Is that a word?
"Fart!"

The aide manages to keep a straight face. Substitute Teacher Extraordinaire is hiding behind her laptop suppressing giggles. It was a nice 3-Day weekend and I am not completely back from vacation yet. I'm sorry, farts are still very funny.
