Huggy

Last Wednesday was such a nice day here in LA, I decided to take the 2nd graders outside to read under a tree. They absolutely loved it. We read the first chapter of "Ralph S. Mouse" in the shade while a sweet breeze blew through. I've subbed for this class before, they totally pee themselves whenever I come back. You'd think I was a celebrity, they all squeal in glee and rush for hugs. All of the kids at that school are seriously affectionate. It's really nice to walk through hallways and hear kids yell out "MISS P!!! MISS P!!!! HI!!!!" and run to hug you.

Actually, sometimes I walk through back hallways just to avoid them if I have a ton of stuff in my arms. :P

But the love is still there.
